What was your last non-radio job?
Starting in the business at 12 I haven’t had many! “Single Dad?” “Pet Parent?” Do those count? Although I did leave radio after hosting a morning show on another Boston station. It was owned by a corporate broadcasting behemoth. So before they could completely suck my soul out, I hung up my headphones, attained a Series 65 license from the SEC, and started my own financial planning firm.
How do you spend your time outside the station?
Raising two teenagers AND a Husky/Corgi puppy, kids call him a “Huggie,” so all that goes with that. I’m an avid golfer & excellent at all facets of the game except chipping and putting. Kind of a foodie and LOVE to cook. I’ve been to 49 states and 20+ countries & love to travel, fish, hike, camp, etc.

Gotta go with BOSTON!
What was your first concert?
My classmates and I all played internal duct flutes (most people call them “recorders”) and put on the most amazing concert for our paren… OH, the first one I WENT to?! John Denver, cuz I grew up near him in Colorado.
What’s the first album you ever bought?
KISS, “Destroyer!” (Also the first album my parents made me return…)

Harry Potter – Spinal Tap – Best In Show (anything Chris Guest) –The Sting – TOO MANY to list!

If you had a goofy DJ name what would it be?
Besides Charlie Wilde? I’ve always wanted to use “What’s-His-Name.” That way, if someone is asked who they like listening to but can’t quite remember… I’d have a decent shot of getting the credit.
