DESCRIPTION:Blue Ocean Society for Marine Conservation of Portsmouth is one of only twenty charities in the country to be selected for MooseJaw and Patagonia’s Crowdrise $10\,000 Charity Thing. Blue Ocean is the only participant from the entire New England region to be selected. To the charity that raises the most money Moosejaw and Patagonia are giving a $5\,000 donation\, $3\,000 for second place\, and $2\,000 to third place. The challenge runs until 11:59 AM on March 13. \n\nOne of Blue Ocean’s goals this year is to purchase a new 65 foot life-size inflatable whale.
